Founded by Bob Warsaw, Covee builds on the legacy of one of the pioneering families of sports merchandising producing custom headwear, apparel and accessories for the promotional sports industry, corporate and private label brands and retail. Beginning in 1928 with the creation of Sports Specialties by Bob’s late father David, the Warsaw Family forged partnerships and trusted relationships with manufacturers, brands and retailers all over the world eventually becoming the largest authentic team licensed headwear company in the world. Bob would later assume the role of CEO and Chairman and along with his brother Jim sold the company to Nike in 1993. In starting Covee in 1995, Bob set out to build a new brand rooted in the Warsaw Family traditions…creating authentic, innovative designs for headwear, apparel and accessories and delivering them on time with competitive pricing. It’s a business philosophy that’s proven successful for almost a century and why Covee continues to deliver on its promises to its valued partners.
